Pinhey Estate, (1820-48), Ottawa, Ontario
Project has involved two key phases. The first was research, condition survey, and a report with recommendations and cost estimate, tender package and site review for the restoration of all exterior woodwork including original windows, shutters and exterior doorways of the main house, all now successfully completed. The second phase has been to develop a tender package for replacing the cedar shingle roof, restoring the stone chimneys and installing inconspicuous bird control systems. The building is run as a historic house museum by the City of Ottawa.
